About
Welcome to RoyalHacks!
RoyalHacks is Denmark’s first national hackathon for university students.
We’re uniting design, software, tech, cybersecurity, and business-IT students across Danish institutions for 24 hours of non-stop ideation, building, and fun.
This is the place to realize your craziest ideas and build creative solutions to real-world challenges – challenges which we’ve mischievously designed for you! 😈
What is a hackathon? “Hacking” refers to creative problem-solving. A hackathon is simply an event where people come together to build solutions to problems.
At RoyalHacks you’ll form a team, take on challenges, and build your best idea into a functional product in under 24 hours. Then, all teams present their projects to judges and other participants – science-fair style.
The best solutions in each challenge track are selected and presented on stage, and the teams behind them win prizes!
RoyalHacks is for students who are creative, curious, and love building things.
Worried about coding? RoyalHacks was built by students who know great tech teams need more than just coders.
Still worried about coding? We provide magic tools and run workshops throughout the weekend to help teams keep building.
